The Cathedral – the Holy Trinity

 

            This symbolic representation of the Holy Trinity consists of three sets of hands. French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) created a beautiful sculpture called The Cathedral, and before that The Ark of the Covenant. These were in the series he created with The Hands of God, although in that work, Rodin wanted to emphasize the empty space between the two right hands.
