River of Life
Down to the left is a golden figure representing the Creator. He generates life. From him flow human beings one after another as a stream, a river of Life that leads into seven circles, which represent completion and perfection. In each of those circles is an eye - God's omniscience and care for the Creation. This piece is inspired by William Blake's "The Lover's Whirlwind," an illustration of hell in Canto V of Dante's Inferno. However, my emphasis is on the positive side of Creation and the Love of the Creator for His Creation.
